Being present in each moment is a place I aspire to be. I am in earnest for the truth of it, not from a place of strength, but of weakness. My mind is prone to worry. My heart leans to the ache. It requires constant effort. Intention. Courage. To be present. To taste and hear the now. To be cognizant of the smell of it. The temperature of it. The song and wail and harmony and dissonance of it. Sometimes it is cacophony.  Sometimes it is sublime. But always it is mine to open.
